Langsuan Long Boat Racing

Long Boat Racing in Langsuan is considered as the most unique one in Thailand because all the chiefs of each boat (sitting at the head of the boat) must compete among themselves to pick up the red flag at the finish line in order to win the racing without being fallen into the river. This is a climax of the racing.

As stated that Long-boat Racing is one of the traditional rites which marks the end of the Buddhist Rains Retreat, it mainly takes place in the 11th or 12th lunar months (usually in October).
